Itzhak Esquira is a noted international consultant and adviser in greenhouse technology, vegetable production and farm management, working with innovators, decision-makers, government and international institutions and organizations. Mr. Esquira teaches Greenhouse Technology at The College of the Galilee, Tel Hai and has served as President of the International Plasticulture Society (CIPA). His research work includes soil solarization, design of passive solar heating systems for enhancing growth and production, introduction of plasticulture in arid, tropical and cold climate areas, as well as development of alternative energy for protected energy. Esquira has served as a researcher, advisor and teacher in Central America, Eastern and Western Europe, China and throughout the Middle East. He has developed business plans  and master plans for greenhouse technology as well as for farm management and food traceability projects for local and export markets. Itzhak Esquira holds a BSc and an MSc from the Faculty of Agriculture, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
